I'm using ASA7 connecting with a software written in
powerbuilder,
in order to increase the perform, I know there are some
connection parameters that can enlarge the cache size, other
than this, how can I further manage the caching strategy?
Since when I have selected all the contents of a table, and
then do the same query again and again, the cache seems not
very stable to have the same high performance every time.

While cache plays a role in performance, it may not be the reason why you
are getting inconsistent or poor performance.

What are the query plans telling you?

BTW In ASA 7, the cache size is dynamic (in the absence of any cache
settings that disable that feature)
