Author Problem in IAnywhere.data.dll

Hi,
I am currently using the iAnywhere.data.dll for the vb.net
database accessing with ASA9.0.1 version. in that i tried
with creating the mobilink user with "." char. it throw some
error like syntax error in the Create Synchronization user
MLUSER. .
But when i tried the same thing in the Interactive sql it is
creating the user properly.
what will be the problem.

Can you provide the code that is used to create this user?
