Author Editing VFP in ASA

Hi to all
I need to edit a foxpro table and not sure 100% how to do it. I can view the
data but not update it. Herewith what I did from the start:
I setup an ODBC connection in my ODBC mamanger.

In ASA console, under the Remote Servers, I setup a generic server with the
name of the ODBC connection name.

In the Tables tab I add a new Proxy table. All data is displayed when
viewing the data under the Data page tab.

When I try to change information the following error occurs:

[Sybase][ODBC Driver][Adaptive Server Anywhere]General error: Server
'FoxPropMast': [Microsoft][ODBC Visual FoxPro Driver]Command contains
unrecognized phrase/keyword.
SQLCODE: -660
SQLSTATE: HY000

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Thanks

Please always post the version and build number of SQLAnywhere that you
are using (e.g. for 9.x, use the command "dbeng9 -v")

From my interpretation of the above error message, it appears that
VFP's ODBC driver cannot handle some of the commands coming from ASA.

You might try setting the CIS_OPTION in SQLAnywhere to have the Remote
Data Access layer (on which Proxy Tables work) output debug information
to the database console. This might help determine what is going on.

In the SQLAnywhere 9.x online docs, see:

ASA Database Administration Guide
Database Options
Alphabetical list of options
- CIS_OPTION option [database]

Hope this helps,
