Sybase SQL Anywhere and Pcanywhere

| Does PC Anywhere and Sybase Cental have any compatibility
issue?
The instance of Sybase Central hangs on some of our client
systems during a pc anywhere session. We are trying to
narrow down the system configurations it have problem with
but it seems like very random as this point.

Some years ago when Sybase Central became Java, we also faced that problem. We kicked PCAW and got Remote Administrator, which solved the problem and was *ways" faster then PCAW.
Maybe your issue is also related to the Java based screen output ...

| We use pcAnywhere 11.0 in 40 + scenarios and have NO problems viewing and
manipulating Sybase Central 4.3. Our remote control machines are Windows XP
and Windows 2000 Dell workstations or laptops. The host machines are Windows
2000 and Windows 2003 servers running ASA 9.0.2 patch level 3137. The remote
control sessions are across the internet via VPNs.
