Author Proxy table between databases on same server

2005-07-14, 9:23 am

Using ASA 9.0.2.3131.

Are there any shortcuts to creating proxy tables to another
database on the same server? Or is both create server and
create externlogin needed?

You still need to create the remote server connection and then the proxy
table. With ASA you establish your connection to a specific database running
on the server. The connection must be established to create the proxy table.
Recommend using ODBC as it will be faster than JDBC in this scenario.
