Hi,

The rteng8.exe on a clients computer does not shut down automatically when
closing the application.
(Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere Database Engine Version 8.0.2.4251)
Windows Version XP home Edition SP2

Same behaviour with rteng7.exe

Running Windows in Safe mode does not solve the problem.

Autostop is set to "YES" and in close of application the disconnection is
done....

Does the application also start the runtime engine? Or, do you start
the runtime engine manually before connecting via the application?
