Unexpected Shutdown

Hi,
One of the Sybase ASA server shutdown unexpectedly the other day. I have
attached the db messages, nothing seems to be unsual.
This is a dedicated server with no other functionality except to run ASA DB
server.
Please help:
1. Is there other way to check why the server shutdown?
2. Page size too small - how to correct this?
There are similar issues found in other newsgroup, but no answers yet.
Thanks,
Geoff

| 1) Do you have a console log output from the server at the time of the
shutdown? There may be additional information there?
2) You are using a 2K page size. Due to the size of your database, you
may get better performance by rebuilding the database and use a 4K page size.
In addition, you are using 8.0.2.4289. You may want to consider upgrading to
8.0.3 latest EBF if you experience the sudden shutdown again.

| Hi! Thanks for your help.
How do you get the console log output?
Thanks again!

| If you are running as a daemon (using -ud or dbspawn), then you will need to
add -o logfilename to the server command line - the output of the console log
will then be written to "logfilename". If you are concerned about the size of
the log file (for long running daemon processes), then also include the -os
switch.
For more info, look in the docs under:
