| The dbstop utility respons with the following message;
"Request to start/stop the database denied"
The database was started as a daemon with the following command;
/opt/sybase/SYBSsa8/bin/dbsrv8 -ti 0 usr/shopmate/database/shopmate.db -ud
I don;t have any problems running the database, I just can't stop it. All
commands were executed while logged in as root.
Running 8.0.3 on Fedore Core 3. I know that 8.0.3 is NOT supported on
Ferdora Core 3, but I was wondering if this is a generic problem or am I
just missing something simple?
TIA,
Mike
