Hi everyone,

We would like to install a SQLAnywhere 8.0.3 DB server on a Debian server.

Is there any restrictions or known issues on that configuration ?
has Somebody already installed ASA on a Debian ?

thanks by advance

Thanks,

A box:

{daigo}% uname -a
Linux westwood 2.6.11 #1 Tue Jul 5 11:49:46 JST 2005 i686 GNU/Linux
{daigo}% dpkg -l | grep "libc6"
ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22

I recompiled the kernel with some kernel-patch packages.

Another box:

{daigo}% uname -a
Linux hermes 2.6.10-1-686 #1 Fri Mar 11 03:55:46 EST 2005 i686 GNU/Linux
{daigo}% dpkg -l | grep "libc6"
ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22

Thanks,
Daigo
