| Does IA plan on releasing a managed version of dbmlsync that will work in
the .NET Compact Framework environment? I can use the ActiveX object, but
that requires a custom or 3rd party wrapper and it would be nice to not have
to do that.

Unfortunately we have not yet implemented this functionality within
dbmlsync. We have been discussing the ability to support the dbmlsync
component within the Compact Framework within engineering however it looks
like this functionality will not make it for the Jasper release.
As of right now you can execute the dbmlsync executable using command line
parameters from your .NET application and you can use the ASA hooks to help
monitor and report back on various aspects of the synchronization process.
I do concede that this solution is less than optimal in comparison to the
dbmlsync component.
I would welcome you to email me with a request for this functionality. I
have been keeping a list of interested customers. The more people that
request this feature, the sonner we can have it implemented. My email is
my last name @ianywhere.com.
