Author extraction not working on sql remote on new server

We are moving our sqlanywhere database and 10 sql remote
users to a new server. The database is working ok and so
are backups but when I try to extract one of the sql remote
users I receive the following error: "SQL error Specified
database is invalid Could not extract the database (database
name)". When I validate the database, it finds no errors.
Any help would be appreciated.

I ran this from the command line and it seemed to work.
Wanted the eng and commlinks defined for some reason.

dbxtract -v -c
" eng=my_eng;commlinks
=tcpip;dbn=my_db;uid
=dba;pwd=password"
c:\messages\inspect6

Here's the real answer: Won't run extraction from Sybase
Central using Remote Desktop Connection. Had to run it from
the console connected directly to the server in our machine
room.
