smtp authentication
|
|
|
| I'm trying to replicate between Norway and China.
Reading and downloading messages by POP3 works, but sending
messages does not work.
The chinese e-mail server rejects dbremote from sending
messages by smtp error 553 after smtp HELO and MAIL FROM.
I believe the chinese email server requires smtp
authentication by username and password.
Is there any possibility to configure dbremote (ver 6.03 or
later versions) to use smtp authentication ?

| Found a possible solution.
smtp authentication seems to be avaiable from ver. 8.02
Now testing dbremote 9.01 and Anywhere 6.03.
No errors found so far.
