Running dbremote as a service one remote user is configured to send every 2
hours with the message type SMTP another remote user is configured to send
every 20 minutes with the message type file. Dbremote switch -rd 240 how
often will it check for messages? If two messages types are defined (file
and smtp) will it check these at the same interval?

Thanks

Jim

How often sql remote checks for messages is independent of the send
frequencies. In your case, I believe sql remote will only check for new
messages (in both message systems) every 4 hours.
