Hi,

ASA 9.0.2 Win 2000 SQL Remote The cust is interested in how much disk space
can SQL Remote take for it's temp files.

Temp files are created by dbremote during the log scan phase. The amount of
temp space used will be highly variable and be based on the following
criteria :

1) The amount of the transaction log that needs to be scanned.
2) The number of remote users in the system.

In theory, I think the temp space could be as high as the total size of all
your offline transaction logs (plus active transaction log), but the odds of
it getting this high are roughly the same as being hit by lightning and
winning the lottery on the same day.
