Re: Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere Database Engine Version 7.0.4.3362

If someone runs a PASSTHROUGH FOR SUBSCRIPTION TO XXX against the
consolidated and disconnects their connection immediately after the
passthrough, does that issue an implicit PASSTHROUGH STOP? My forensic
log file reading has convinced me that it probably does, but I'd really
appreciate an engineer telling me that I'm right.

If I'm wrong, and if two full replications have taken place since said
oops has taken place (so everybody has, in fact, received this
passthrough), what do I need to do or look for?

Thank you for your expertise, which will help me sleep.

Is it a bad sign when you can't work up a good panic any more?

passthrough mode is for the current connection only. if the connection
dies, passthrough dies with it.

This is exactly what I needed to know. Thank you very much!

I believe that you are safe at that version. You would not have been safe in
the 5.5.x days.
