Hello
First time to a news group and a bit of a database dumbwit!!

We have 1 primary server that has adaptive server version
11.9.2 that holds the main database.Server is running W2K.
We have a secondary server just sitting there incase the
primary server goes bang.
Whats the best way of replicating the data from the primary
to the secondary server.
Does anyone have any suggestions or can point me in the
right place.

Thanks in advance
Suzi

Try one of the sybase.public.ase.* newsgroups, perhaps
sybase.public.ase.general to start with.

Post a new message, rather than a reply to an old message. Also, start
your message with a simple question "How do I <do some thing>" like
"How do I switch over to a secondary database server when the primary
server fails?"

Follow that with a description of your needs and environment.

FYI the sybase.public.sqlanywhere.* newsgroups are for SQL Anywhere
which is a completely different product from ASE.
