Hi.
We use ul-application for PalmOS (ASA 9.0.2.3131).
Sometimes users complain me about error -10023 during sync. But they don't
use backup now and there no terminals with the same UserID. Today I finded
about during previous synchronization connection was terminated by user (he
push reset on terminal during sync). I think this error may be related with
PDA-model. They use Palm Tungsten E2 (NVFS) . May be sync counter
(commit_state) on server incremented and on PDA not?

Sincerely yours,
Alex Usmanov.

Are you using the conduit or tcpip for synchronization?
How many times have you seen the problem?

I suggest you submit a tech support case for this.

I saw this three times, but about reset during previous sync I knew
yesterday. All three users use Palm Tungsten E2. Other users use Sony CLIE
TJ25 without such errors.
Yestarday reset happened during hotsync and error -10023 get by tcpip-sync
after.
You know, if it made reset NVFS-PDA before closing pdb it don't save any
changes - may be it is reason of the error.
I suggest developers test similar case to make ml-sync more effective in
future releases, for me this is not problem - I can reset commit_state to
zero one time in month :-)
