Syncing an encrypted Ultralite with encrypted consolidated via hotsync
|
|
|
| When I synchronize an encrypted ultralite database with an
encrypted consolidated database via HotSync, I am prompted
to enter the encryption key. The key requested is for the
ultralite database (mobilink server is running and already
connected to consolidated database). Is there a setting for
the conduit that I may have overlooked to eliminate the
encryption key prompt message from appearing?

| Greg,
Your input was helpful. I got it working. Upon checking
the registry entries, everything seemed to ckeck out, but
still would get the prompt for the key. I stopped the
HotSync manager and restarted and it worked.
I think my problem stemmed from the fact that initially my
ultralite conduit was configured without the encryption key,
I deleted the conduit and re-created with the encryption
key, but I did not stop and restart the hotsync manager to
have it get the updated conduit.
Thanks
