pocket pc sync failing
|

| I'm running v9.0.2.3198
When doing a sync with iPAQ I am getting an error:
Communication error: OPEN, 10014, socket_host_name_not
_found
My stream parameters are as follows:
stream=http;port=80;
host=qaweb6.bcbsal.org;url_suffix=/scripts/iaredirect.dll/ml/
I have also tried using the IP address but that didn't work. Any ideas?

If you fire up Pocket IE on that device, can you get to:
http://qaweb6.bcbsal.org/scripts/iaredirect.dll/ml/
?
That is what UltraLite is attempting to do, and it appears that the OS
is coming back saying that it cannot find the DNS name for
qaweb6.bcbsal.org.

We are actually doing an ActiveSync so shouldn't it be going through the
PC? This is not a phone device with real time internet access.

| You didn't answer Greg's question though.
If Pocket IE returns host not found as well, it's a problem on the device,
and nothing specific to UltraLite.

| It says it cannot connect with the current connection settings. How is
the device supposed to connect to the server without a Internet
connection? I even tried to cradle the PDA and that didn't work. If
I'm doing something wrong please give me better instructions on what to try.

| I figured out the problem. I installed EBF 9.0.2.3228 and that did the
trick. Now I'm having an problem testing on the simulator. It tells me
it can't find ulnet9.0.2.3228. Any ideas? I know they had a problem
with build 3221 where they shipped the wrong dll for the simulator. Was
that supposed to be fixed with 3228?
