Hi,

Would like to find out if we can write native C++
application with Ultralite as data source for Symbian OS
phones.

Saw in the documentation that Ultralite provides static
C/C++ API, but not sure if this will work on Symbian OS
phones.

Please advise. Thanks.

UltraLite C++ support for Symbian OS is coming in the next major release
of SQL Anywhere. Keep an eye on this newsgroup for announcements for the
timing of that release, or if you are interested in taking part in a
beta program, go to http://www.ianywhere.com/sqlanybeta.

Hi Tom,
Thanks. How about BlackBerry OS? Can we develop
C++/Java-based applications and deploy to BlackBerry OS?

Thanks.

Unfortunately the answer is No. The BlackBerry OS is Java only and I
don't think there is a way of getting C++ apps to run there. And
UltraLite does not yet support BlackBerry OS.
