ulrt.jar"is missing"

But i have ulrt.jar in my
programfiles\sybase\
sqlanywhere\ultralit
e\java\lib\

Pls advice,

Regards,
Sri

Please ALWAYS include version and MORE importantly BUILD number
with EACH post (dbeng9 -v).

How did you install SQL Anywhere Studio?
Did you run our installer or did you copy the files yourself?

Do you have an ASANY9 environment variable set?
If so, what value is it?

Have you rebooted since the install?

As David asked, what is the value of the ASANY9 environment variable (at
the command prompt, type "echo %ASANY9%")

Some of your paths have spaces, some do not. One is "sqlanywhere" and
one is "sql anywhere9". ...

The error indicates that it is looking for ulrt.jar in c:\Docum\... ??

Please confirm the *exact* paths in the error messages and your responses.

The Monitor startup program is using the following registry value to
determine your installation directory (and looks for
ultralite\java\lib\u
lrt.jar under that directory):

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\S
OFTWARE\Sybase\Adapt
ive Server Anywhere\9.0\Location

It should be set to the same value as the ASANY9 environment variable.
Since it is not set properly on your machine, it seems that the
installation program was not run, or needs to be re-run. Try installing.

Cheers,

Graham
