Thanks, David for the information on creating a short-cut on the pocket
pc... that was a key piece of information that I needed to put me on the
right track.

For the sake of the group, and in case someone else makes the same false
assumptions I did, let me detail my problem and its solution here. The
core of my problem (embarressing as it is to admit): iAnywhere was not
installed on the iPaq! The solution: Install it! :)

I come from a background of using m-business and ultralite, so all my
experience to date has been with m-business applications. I had assumed
that, since the m-business client is installed on the device, and the
client uses the ultralite database and mobilink synchronisation,
iAnywhere must be already installed on the device... a grossly incorrect
assumption as it turns out. For once I actually installed iAnywhere for
CE on the device, all the executionables that I needed were actually
there!! :)
