Author Open_Cursor Problem in oracle Sync.

Hi,
I am currently using the ASA 9.0.1.1899 version of the ASA.
We use to Sync with Oracle in Win2003 system, Mobilink
running in the same system. we have client in the microsoft
itself. But We are trying to move all of the server stuff's
to UNIX instead of Win2003. Previously sync was good and
fast. After changed to this server we got the error like
Oracle Open_Cursor is more than a limit. is there anything
to do with UNIX Oracle settings. or we have to go for the
Mobilink for the UNIX version. When we set that Cursor
option to 3000. it is doing good. What shall we do for this
problem.
Cheers,
Bob

Can you post the *exact* text of the error message you are seeing, along
with any error numbers/codes that might be associated?

Where are you seeing this error (ML log? OS event log? ...)

Which ODBC driver are you using to connect to Oracle?

Which specific OS and version is the "Unix" you are moving to?

Which OS and version is ML running on?

Error Like Open Cursor Exceeds Limit in Oracle Database.

we got it in the Synchronization Client Sync Window.

We are using the Oracle Wired Protocol provided by ASA 9.0.1
version. for the ODBC.

Unix Version : AIX version - 5.1

ML Server is Win2K OS.

Bob

This is the error from the Mobilink Server.

I am not an Oracle guru by any stretch of the imagination, but I wonder
if there is some setting in the Oracle server similar to ASA's
MAX_CURSOR_COUNT which is set much lower on your AIX server than it is
on your Win2003 server.

Do you know of any Oracle admin utility to extract these kinds of
configuration values so you can compare the two servers' setup?
