Communication error
|

| Hello
I have a problem with mobilink communications and Anywhere
Versions.
It works fine with version 8.0.2.3601 on the server but when
I upgrade version on the server I've got this errors:
Communication error ocurred while receiving data from
the mobilink server (Ver 4361)
or
Unable to
write 2 bytes. The system-specific error code is 10054
(Later Versions)
I'm runnig Windows Server 2002 Service Pack 4.
When I work against the local ASA database on the emulator,
there is no
problems, but with pda's over the network with tcpip I have
those problems.
Is there any parameters to modify in newer vesion's of
Mobilink?
Is it a problem of the OS? What can I do to migrate to a
newer version of ASA. I'm trying to move to version 8.0.3
Thanks In Advance,
Ricardo Alba

Did you recompile the application, or was the app still the old app
compiled with the older ASA software?
Additional info:
1. What OS is the app running on.
2. What device is the app running on.
3. What version of ASA was the app compiled with.
4. Did you try the app when it was compiled with both the old version
and the newer ASA version?
5. Are you syncing directly to the ML server, or are you using proxy
servers or any web server redirectors?

I upgrade from version 8.0.2.3601 of ASA in my database server to newer
version ASA 8.0.2 4361 and also have tested win version
asa_803_win32_ebf_52
17 and in both cases I got communcation errors.
I'm working with pda's with Pocket PC 2002 in the client I have tested it
with Ipaq 3970 and TSM 500..
My client application is made with PocketPowerBuilder.
I'm not using proxy communication.
Thanks

Is this still an issue, have you contacted technical support?
