tcpip sync error - 10054
|

|
| ML 9.0.2.3044
Windows Mobile 2003 2nd ed 4.21.1088.14049
Ultralite
I am able to sync (creates a udb for the first time) from the pocket pc and
get about 2000 rows with no problem. The second time I try to sync I get
this error:
Error: Unable to write to the 'tcpip' network connection. Unable to write 2
bytes. The system-specific error code is 10054 (hex 00002746).
The documentation says: "With no -e option, error logs from Adaptive Server
Anywhere MobiLink clients are stored in a file named dblmsrv.mle"
So I looked (*.mle) for the dbmlsrv.mle file and found one matching file in
Windows\System32, but it is zero bytes. Is it also on the Pocket PC? I
couln't find it there.
We've been syncing for a couple of months and I haven't seen this error. I
can't think of anything we've changed that might cause a communication
error.
Any ideas? Thank you.

Are you repeatedly getting this error, or was it just once?
