Hi all,
ASA 9.0.1.1883

I am using an SQL server as a consolidated and ASA as a remote.
mobilink is used to sync the two.
The ASA is used as a consolidated for other remotes.
My problem:
The SQL-ASA sync is a long one. During this sync, all of the tables are
locked on the ASA,
and the ASA's remotes can't sync.
How can I make sure that the mobilink only lock the tables for the duration
of that table handling?
For example:
Mobilink syncs tables: a,b,c,d. all of those are locked until the sync is
over. how can I release a when a download is complete?

Thanks in advance,
R

Hi,
Thanks for your answer.
Two questions:
1. Is there any way to cause mobilink to drop a lock after it finish working
on that table and move to the next?
2. Is it acceptable to use "off" in the extended option lt? could it cause
any problems? (as the db itself should manage the locks in the row level)
thanks in advance,
R

1. No.

2. The following section of the docs should answer this question :

MobiLink Clients
Adaptive Server Anywhere Clients
Initiating synchronization
Concurrency during synchronization
