| Hi All,
Please someone can ask to my questions:
I can only run one synchonization at a time for
each remote database.
However, the situation that I will have is this:
5(or more) client(remote) databases will be on the same server.
The consilidated database will probably be on a different server.
==>Does this mean that I can only run the synchronization for each
database one at a time.?
==>In other words: is the limitation per database or per server ?
Can two publications be sychronised on the same server but for different
client databases at the same time ?
Thanks in advance
Regards,
Claude

| It doesn't matter where the remote databases are; you can have as many
as you want, on as many (or few) computers as you want.
The consolidated database and MobiLink server dbmlsrv9.exe can handle
as many synchronization sessions as you want, from as many remote
databases as you want and as often (within reason) as you want.
Each remote database contains at least one publication. They can be
the same or different in different remote databases.
Each synchronization session is started by the MobiLink client
dbmlsync, and it involves exactly one remote database.
So the answer to this question
>Can two publications be sychronised on the same server but for different

>client databases at the same time ?
is yes.
Suggestion: do not get the word "server" confused between "hardware
computer" and "software program".

Please, always post the version and build number of SQLAnywhere that you
are using (e.g. use the command "dbeng9 -v" for SQLAnywhere 9.x)
Do you mean that you have 5 .db files mounted on the same ASA server
(dbsrv9) ?
