I am having problems getting the syncronization to work through HotSync. I
have been using the CustDB sample to try and figure out where I went wrong
with my app, but I have not been able to get it running correctly either.

I first posted when I was getting an SQLCODE=-82, could not start database
"STATE RESTORE" errors in my HotSync log.

I made sure to select HotSync under options on the palm
app... but now I am getting a different error:

FAIL Adaptive Server Anywhere Conduit (SQLCODE = -956)
07/22/05 14:37:49
Information for synchronization is incomplete or invalid,
check
'user_name' 07/22/05 14:37:49

When running in mobilVB i select TCPIP sync and it works
fine.

I am starting Mobilink with this line:
"C:\Program Files\Sybase\SQL Anywhere 9\win32\dbmlsrv9.exe"
-vcrs -zu+ -c "dsn=UltraLite 9.0 Sample"

The error is showing in the HotSync log, Not in Mobilink window.

Is this still a problem? If not, what fixed it? If so, and you still
need a solution, then I recommend contacting tech support since nobody
here has helped (including me, since I don't know HotSync).

Cheers,

Graham
