Mobilink ml_user last_download_time col doesn't gets updated?

Env:
The client: ASA with publications 9.0.1.1873
server: ase 12.5.3

I am doing a download only (-ds) dbmlsync.
I am yet to do an upload for the user.
Mobilink ml_user last_download_time col doesn't gets updated?
The value in the <server>.ml_user.last_download_time = 1/1/1900 &
last_upload_time=1/1/1900 even after several download ONLY execution.
These are the values in the server.
Where does the last_download_time value is updated?
How to see it?
Why the ml_user table is not getting updated?

The last_download_time column in ml_subscription is the one used by dbmlsync.
The one in ml_user is probably for compatibility with older versions of
UltraLite clients.
