BLOB Transfer from Oracle to Long Binary of ASA column
|
|
|
| Hi,
We are currently using the ASA 9.0.1.1899 version for the
client and it is synchronizing with the Oracle 9i database.
It is still working in the Client side. We are transferring
some binary files ( BLOB ) data to ASA thru synchronization
for the four different kind of files. Now to increase the
performance of the synchronization we spilited that table
into four and added 2 table in the one subscription and
another two in the 2nd subscription.
Now it is not transferring any content to ASA database. All
columns in the Long binary and BLOB table are not null and i
have primary keys also. Please tell me any other settings
need to be done for this kind of Synchronization.
Regards,
Bob

Start ML using these additional flags:
-v+ -ot ml.txt
Then recreate your remote database and reset this user then perform a
full synchronization.
Post the full output of the ml.txt.
Also run dbmlsync using:
-v+ -o rem.txt
Post its output as well.
It might be easier to create a new user then resetting the current user.
902 makes this easier since resetting a previous user is not required in
902, it automatically detects this is a first time sync from the remote
database and handles it accordingly.

deleted some content in this since the file size was too
big. i retained the starting and end part of this log file.

I just had a chance to look at this. You only provided one of the files
(the dbmlsync output). I asked for the output file from BOTH the ML
server and dbmlsync.
