how to find out the expirary date? is this a beta ase ? where can i
download a commercial 15.0 ase ? i cant find link in the office site. the
only version that i can get is 12.5.

No - that would appear to be the GA.
You can check the error log (I'm not sure where this file is
located under windows - for Unix it is usually in
$SYBASE/ASE-15_0/install) and look for "licence" - this
should give you information about the state of the licence
for your server.

it doesnt state when is the expirary date. I remember that when I installed
ase into local machine, i was prompted that it gonna expire on november. But
I'm sure what date. The reason i'm doing so is because i got important data
in ase. Therefore i'm doing migrating to ase 15 express linux version now.

The developer edition license shouldn't have any expiration
date.

| Michael is correct that there is no expiration for Developer Edition. To
find out what license is being used and whether or not it will expire, login
to ASE and run: sp_lmconfig
That will show the status of your ASE_CORE license and will also show the
"edition". This is EE for Enterprise, DE for Developer, SE for Small
Business, and XE for Express.
