No AMD certification

| Hi,
I was informed that Sybase doesn't have any ASE AMD certification for
Windows (either 32 bit or 64 bit). I find that unreal considering AMD has
15% of the processor market on x86. Am I misunderstanding something here?
Thanks.
P.S. I have absolutely no affiliation to Sybase or AMD.

| Isn't AMD binary-compatible with x86? Sybase certifications are generally
done
against a particular OS for a platform, i.e. ASE is certified against Windows
(x86)
in general rather than against Windows (x86) running on some particular
chipset.
That said, it looks like there is a specific certification for 64-bit ASE on
AMD

| Sorry, misread the certification - it is for 32-bit ASE running on a 64-bit AMD chip.
