Author ASE 15 and ANSI standard Join syntax

Does ASE 15 FULLY support the ansi standard join syntax?

full outer join
cross join
are missing in the prior release.

This is critical since you can not do a full outer join (Cartesian product) to a
table if you are using LEFT OUTER JOIN to another table in releases prior to ASE
15.

The full outer join and cross join are not yet implemented in ASE 15.0 GA.

Does your response mean that Sybase plans to implement either or both in an
ASE 15.x release?

I know these features are on the 'To do' list, but I do not have information
when these will be done.
You can help to raise the priority of these requests by logging a case with
techsupport requesting these features and ask for your case to be associated
with CR 326743 (for the full outer join) and CR 203737 (for the cross join).

Rob V.
