I inquired, and guess what... there is such an email address indeed.
Please send your documentation bugs for Sybase products to: "pubs (at)
sybase (dot) com".
Needless to say, please indicate clearly:
- the product (e.g. 'ASE')
- the name of the document (e.g. 'System Administration Guide')
- the product version (e.g. 12.5.1)

Thanks a lot !
I'll send out the first email today ..... :-)
Seems that the timestamp and version number of all the P&T
manuals for ASE15 on the sybase website are wrong !
You really are doing a wonderful job of helping the sybase
community. Would you like me (and any other people who find
such bugs) to cc them to you?
Do you think you could add another section to your immensely
useful website to list some of the known documentation bugs?
This way, if somebody finds something unusual in the
documentation, he can check there to see if it actually is a
documentation bug.
Thanks and regards,
Ashish

Thanks for the compliment, but please don't cc me... it would be better to
cc to the newsgroup, so that everyone can see it.
I'm actually not planning to maintain a list of doc bugs -- these tend to be
fixed much faster than software bugs, so keeping it updated would cost too
much effort I reckon. Again, posting your findings to the newsgroup would be
just as good, especially when indicating "ASE doc bug" or something similar
in the subject line.
Thanks,
Rob V.
