hello,

anyone heard about such tool to decode syslogs?
I want to make syslogs human readable

btw have You any docs reg how statements are stored on syslog? how many
bytes they use. What is an overhead etc

Hi Jorgus,

Not very easily. You're probably better of using a 3rd party product.
One such is White Sands' ProActive DBA. There are other 3rd party
products that handle log reading too (Quest, etc.)
