Problem with case statement in view

I have a view that changes a column based on the users
rights. When I run the vew by itself (select * from view) it
works fine. If I join the view to another table the case
statement is not working and the raw column is returned. I
am running 12.0.3

You might want to post your view definition, the definition of the other
table, and both queries (w/ their respective results).

Also ... is that 12.0.3 or 12.5.0.3 or something else?
