Installing ASE 12.5.3 with the latest EBF on a HP Proliant ML370 running
Windows 2003 Server.

What is the best location to create tempdb devices. Raid 5 or Raid 0?

Is it possible and advisable to create tempdb devices on the 'swap space'
like "/tmp" on Sun Solaris?

Further is it possible and advisable to create multiple tempdb's on Win
2003?

thanks

Hi Guy,

Place tempdb on RAID 0 as we don't have to worry about the recovery of
tempdb (it is just database for temporary data).
