I have a script to handle the ip change of a slave node. It kills all slon daemons, runs the store path command, then restarts all daemons with new details.
I just ran it for a node with databases = 3 rep clusters. There is only one master and one slave currently.
For 2 of the 3 databases it worked fine. The sl_path updated correctly in both master and slave and the new daemons carried on replicating. For one database the new path was set in master but in slave sl_path shows the path for the master (unchanged) OK but the new slave path as <event pending>
The output for the new slon daemon for this node shows error that 'another slon daemon is already serving this node'. I have tried shutting down slon deamons for this cluster on both master and slave and restarting again but I always get this error. The master output looks fine, like its working. There were no slon daemons running for this cluster for this node, so where is slony getting confused?
