Author solaris 9 install into home dir

Hi, for testing purposes I'm trying to install postgres into my home dir
(~/pgsql). This works. Then I try to install slony into that directory
and it bombs saying that 'mkdir "/usr/local/etc": permission denied.

I don't have control of the environment and need to work within my
directory. Does anyone see a solution? Thanks.

Ok, yeah, rookie mistake. I'm new to make, gmake,et al. (Unix in
general). Anyway, setting --prefix for configure resolves this issue.
