table versions not releasing??

| my database is growing very large! it there a chance the old
table versions are remaining in the database?? if so, is
there anyway to force delete these tables? im using
multiplex, i start them using dbremote (via sybase central)
and they are sync'd....what's up?? any ideas?!?!?
