| Innovative Technology Company in Reston, Virginia is looking for a Manager of
Data Warehouse Engineering.
This person is responsible for the smooth operations of 2 very large Sybase IQ
Multiplex Data Warehouses. He/She will balance the production operations with
new research and development requirements stemming from new corporate
initiatives.
This individual will develop reporting metrics that illustrate progress and
efficiencies in operations and resource utilization, as well as other broader
operational metrics. Will also be responsible for managing relationships with
internal departments.
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree preferred.
Experience with Sybase IQ in Windows environment (Multiplex preferred)
Experience as a production Operations DBA (windows environment
preferred).
Experience as a Sybase IQ developer.
Advanced SQL Skills.
Strong communication and problem solving skills.
Desire to research customer issues and assist with problems.
Ability to work quickly with minimal supervision.
Ability to work with personnel in multiple departments to research
problems.
