Looking for soft copies of the 11.9.2 manuals. Did not find
them on Sybase site. Specifically interested in sections
that dicuss data types.

I assume you mean ASE 11.9.2 manuals? Go to http://sybooks.sybase.com
then Archived Products. It is right there.

In the future, when asking ASE questions please post in the appropriate
news://forums.sybase.com/sybase.public.ase.* forum.
