I am using IQ 12.5 ESD 11. There is a table that contains
sensitive information that we want to restrict selects on
from certain groups. However, when I run the command :

REVOKE SELECT (SSN) ON ACT.AGENT_CONTROL_FILE FROM
MARKETING_SUPPORT_GR
OUP;

I get the message "ASA Error 121 - Permission denied: you do
not have permission to revoke permissions on
"AGENT_CONTROL_FILE"."

I have tried running this command from both a DBA account
and from the table owner account (ACT) with the same
response. I have tried running the command when I am the
only one logged into IQ as well.

I have successfully granted and revoked various other rights
to full tables but have had no luck in revoking rights from
a single column.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
