Author EAS4.1.1 on Windows 2003

2005-12-22, 3:25 am

Hi!

We have running EAS 4.1.1 on Windows 2003.
I know it is not supported but I want to find out if others has tested in
this configuration.
We run the server on a machine with 4GB memory with /3GB switch on.
We tryed to start EAS with Xmx1024 but we failed. Jaguar is faild to
allocate the heap.
We put jagsrv.exe to Windows 2000 compatibility mode but it doesn't help.
Is there any other solution for runnit with 1024MB heap? Beside uppgrading,
ofcourse...

Marry Christmas and Happy New Year,
Remus

did you modify jagsrv.exe to tell it it can address large memory blocks? Use
image config utility to do this.

Is this one you are thinking on?

editbin /stack:value jagsrv.exe

On Windows 2000 we didn't need to change the binary jagsrv.exe.
Where I can find more info about image config utility?

/Remus
