Author ASP client and EAS java statefull components

2005-12-12, 3:24 am

Hi!

My client has some Java statefull components.
He connect to EAS through ASP pages. Due to some system performance caused
by the fact
the ActiveX is apartmentthreaded the client has chosed to use login on each
page and to kill the sessionobjects
on the same page. But on the EAS the components are staying active for 30
minutes each. Clicking on the ASP pages can create a lot
of active components in EAS.
My question: is there some known issues with the behaviour of the ActiveX
proxy dll and the way of the access from the ASP?
Because in my understanding I was thinking to re-use the session references
saved in the HTTP session instead of several logins.

/Remus
