Jaguar 4.2.3 (nt)
PB 8.0.3
Hi !

Does anybody know why the number of iiop connections it is double than the
number of clients ?

Depends of the server where Jaguar runs, I need to specify the IP address to
have only one connection per client. It seems that the resolution name
doesn´t work correctly.

Any help

I know why. I bet it is the load balancing kicking in.

Do you have multiple IIOP listeners for basically the same hostname?
Say an IIOP1 and and IIOP2 listening on different hosts?

Yes, I have it in the Jaguar where it happens. But also I have it in another
Jaguar that it doesn´t happen.

I´ve tried to write the ip address in the listener and the location property
and then I get only ONE connection, but if I want to use name address ¿ What
can I do ?

Yuri,

I believe the problem has to do with case sensitivity of hostname
resolution in iiop implementation. Try to match JAGUAR_HOST_NAME
(setenv.bat) and location (iiop://hostname:port) settings in connection
string, with what you get when you run ipconfig for instance.

If, for example, my ipconfig returns AGILE as the host name and
JAGUAR_HOST_NAME=agi
le or Location=iiop://agile:9000, then we get two
sessions ourselves.

And this has further implications in failover etc. So try to keep them
aligned.
