| What's the possibilities with EAS 5.x on a 64-bit Windows
OS?

| There is a version for HP-Itanium, however, not for other 64-bit OS.
I'm told this is on the roadmap for EAS 6. In addition, while working
on the Itanium port, engineering found that simply running the 32-bit
version on a 64-bit OS is not as seemless as you might hope.

| OK, so where can I find more information on the troubles of
EAS as 32-bit on a 64-bit Windows?

| I'm not sure you can. It's not a supported option, so there really
hasn't been any analysis of what and what does not work. I am just
aware of customers that have tried it and found it to be unstable
resulting in crashes and hangs. Whether or not those problems were
specifically due to using 64-bit windows is not entirely clear, but
pursuing the answer is somewhat of an academic exercise given the
product roadmap.
