Author Limiting Sessions

Is there a way to limit how many sessions of our application
that our users can open at one time? We are running PB
components on Jaguar 4.23. We have some users opening 4 or
more sessions of one application on their machine. We would
like to limit this, without having to rely on keeping track
of logins in a database table. Has anyone done this? Is
there a way using Jaguar to do this?
Thanks.
