Using EAServer 5.2 and ASE 12.5 back-end DB, I have a
connection cache with mix/max sizes of 20 and 60,
respectively. On server restart, 20 db connections are
opened, which I can confirm using sp_who. Later, in EAS
Manager Runtime Monitoring, if I see a "Peak Max Connections
Active" value of 6, why is EAServer opening more connections
in the cache (for example, now I'm up to 24 connections in
the pool). If 6 was the max number of connections every
active at one point, what's wrong with using 6 from the
original 20 that were opened on startup? Or am I
misinterpreting the "Peak Max" value?
