Author EAServer Eating Up CPU Cycles

After experiencing frequent server crashes on our Win2000 server, we
upgraded from EAS 4.2.4 to 4.2.5, which seems to have solved that
problem.

However, we now find that, after being up for a day or so, the server
starts pegging the CPU at 99-100%. Typically, the web applications
still work, although somewhat slower than normal.

We are not seeing any unusual memory usage - virtual bytes remains
constant.

It would appear that some internal EAS process has gotten itself into a
loop. We've never seen this before, and have introduced no changes to
components or web applications since upgrading to 4.2.5.

Any ideas?
